These are the gemstones that I favour in my designs:
 Amazonite can be found in the US, Brazil, Russia, India, Africa and Australia, and ranges in color from light green through to blue-green. It is sold natural (unenhanced) and is from the Feldspar family of minerals. It is named after the Amazon where it was thought to originate from.
In folklore it is said to help heal grief, have a calming effect and balance moods, and encourage a healthy trust in God.
London Blue Topaz can be found in the US, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Myanmar,  Africa, Australia, Russia, Mexico and Japan. It is often heat treated to enhance its beautiful deep blue coloring.
Folklore tells us it is a powerful stone that releases tension , balances emotions and brings us joy. It is also said to encourage creativity, true love and hope.
 Carnelian is a member of the quartz family and was well known throughout ancient times, particularly by the Egyptians. It ranges from reds through to oranges and is mined in the US, Brazil, Russia, Africa, India and Australia.
Folklore says this gem is protective, stabilises moods and is the bringer of good luck and fortune.
 Pink Peruvian Opal is a gemstone from the Andes mountain region in Peru. There is also a blue form. It is said to be the gemstone of love and gentleness.
